In 7 years, Bridge has grown to a team of more than 50 people from 15 nationalities, with headquarters in Madrid, where most of our team is based; an emerging LatAm HQ inAntigua, Guatemala, with a few team members; and a few people based in different places around the world.JOB MISSIONWe are looking for an accomplished Head of Business Development to lead the design, optimization, and scaling of the sales organization as we continue to expand our global market presence. You need to lead by example so closing deals and signing on new partners is part of the role, but you will also need to build and optimize the strategy with the Sales teams in existing & new markets by understanding what the market and Bridge for Billions need. A big part of the role is understanding and working with the marketing and customer success teams to ensure company alignment and instil best-in-class tracking and reporting methodologies.You will be the owner of implementing and executing strategies that set our sales teams up for success. The role requires exceptional project management, strategic decision-making, influencing and interpersonal skills as you will partner with business leaders, executives, and board members both internally and externally. To be successful in this role, you will manage the details with a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to achieve successful outcomes.Key Responsibilities- Understanding the market, identifying business opportunities, closing deals & signing on new partners yourself, assisting your team in alignment and achieving their goals in the most efficient way possible.- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement for the sales process and sales team members development, and work closely with the team to implement practices to achieve those improvements.- Define performance measures and reporting requirements to evaluate the effectiveness of the team and our initiatives to make data-driven decisions
