Utilising this intelligence, you will develop strategic plans and ensure the hotel remains competitive in the marketplace. Some of the main responsibilities will be:- Availability to travel and promote Grand Luxor Hotel & Villas and Terra Mitica in national and international markets.- Support in the development of MICE sales strategies.- Attending MICE fairs and events to showcase our venues and hotel.- Support in marketing activities on and off.Based in the Grand Luxor Hotel you will be part of a small (but mighty!) team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn't always mean working around the clock.What do we need from you?To be successful in this role, you will have experience in Sales & Events sector, specially within the MICE industry. As part of the commercial experts for this hotel, you will be able to comfortably discuss business performance and make informed decisions/recommendations at a senior level. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with the senior management team on-property and upskilling the team to ensure we maximise revenue at every opportunity.The ideal candidate will have negotiating, organisational and planning skills. Studies in tourism and marketing would also be an advantage, as well as an analytical profile and accustomed to reporting.It ´ll be required for this position have knowledge of English and a second language such as German or French would be an asset.
