.Key AccountabilitiesOversee and coordinate all General Ledger activities (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable), ensuring proper reconciliation and closing of accounting periods in time and quality, in accordance with legal tax and accounting requirements (IFRS & Local).Provide visibility on revenue and related costs through relevant analytics and reporting (tracking budgets and performance vs past periods).Support functional areas as a trusted co-pilot (vision, organization, best practices, initiatives/projects) in the day-to-day as well as in the medium- and long-term strategic vision.Prepare monthly consolidated reports and management accounts and develop a monthly management pack to present to senior management.Prepare annual statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors/tax advisors regarding annual filing requirements.Assist in developing a yearly budget and subsequent reforecasts as necessary.Analyze financial statement accounts and propose adjustments or reclassifications as appropriate.Assist and coordinate the budget process, aggregating and/or consolidating information in accordance with Group and Local Reporting Standards. Evaluate and follow up on variances between budget and actual figures.Track and analyze the evolution of operating expenses and serve as a facilitator for budget compliance.Develop, control, monitor, and ensure a robust evaluation of CAPEX (Capital Expenditure), as well as participate in the elaboration of the forms required by the Group.Ensure control and visibility of assets and liabilities, including the development, implementation, and compliance with Internal Controls - SOX, Group Standards, and Local Standards.Ensure full transparency of costs and financial impacts on strategic decisions in the above areas.Be the Finance ambassador in the different teams to ensure transparency, alignment, and proactive collaboration.Partner with other members of the above areas to facilitate improvements in collections and payment cycles.Key Competencies and CharacteristicsHave a minimum of four years of experience in a similar role.Be an energetic and focused self-starter who can work on his/her own initiative and constantly seek better ways of achieving the organization's goals.Possess the drive and ambition to grow with the Group.Be comfortable anticipating the needs and aims of management and able to communicate effectively and constructively.Have a strong general finance background ranging from basic bookkeeping to management accounting, budgeting, reporting, and financial statements.Have an advanced level of proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.Experience in SAP accounting software is an advantage.Have a good understanding of tax compliance including Spanish corporate tax.Have good communication/negotiation skills and be comfortable dealing with customers, vendors, banks, auditors, etc.Be practical and goal-oriented
