Zp-103 - Qa Engineer (Gstreamer)

We are looking for a Specialist QA to be the guardian of Fluendo's Quality, ensuring that all software delivered by our projects is of the highest possible quality. A large part of this is done through extensive testing of the systems we deliver, but your responsibilities don't stop there. Responsibilities Work in Fluendo's multimedia stack built on top of the open source GStreamer framework.
Be involved in clients' projects to validate the work of our development team.
Define, implement and execute manual and automated test cases.
Be part of the software development life-cycle of Fluendo and its clients.
Create and track defects.
Report test progress and defect follow-up.
Ensure our products meet customer expectations and requirements.
Work in tandem with the development team to improve Fluendo's products.

Qualifications Informatics, Computer Science, Computer/Telecommunications/Electronic Engineering university degree or similar.
5+ years of experience in a QA role.
Hands-on experience with CVS, preferably git.
Familiarity with test/QA terminology and principles.
Experience with Python, C/C++, and Docker environments.
Experience in test automation, e.g., test case or test framework development.
ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level.
Familiarity with agile SW development models, e.g., Kanban, Scrum.
Experience with CI/CD processes and systems, e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
English (Advanced level, written and spoken).
