We are looking for an experienced Component Leader to oversee the development and maintenance of Controller Protocol Converters (CPCs), key modules enabling communication between elevator controller boards and our embedded systems.
This role is critical for ensuring seamless integration of elevator control systems with our broader connectivity solutions, supporting our mission to deliver cutting-edge IoT-enabled elevators.
The Component Leader will play a crucial role in bridging deep technical expertise in elevator controllers with leadership skills to guide their team of developers.
Key Responsibilities:Lead CPC Development and Maintenance: Direct and oversee the development and maintenance of Controller Protocol Converters (CPCs) to ensure seamless communication between various elevator controller boards and the embedded systems.
Ensure that all CPC modules meet quality, performance, and compatibility standards while addressing the needs of new controller boards.Elevator Industry Expertise: Apply extensive knowledge of the elevator industry, including controller board operations, communication protocols (e.g., CAN, RS485, and proprietary protocols), and compliance standards.
Ensure that CPC modules are optimized for real-world elevator applications and meet the specific requirements of diverse controller boards.Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of developers and QAs focused on CPC development.
Cultivate technical growth within the team by sharing expertise in elevator systems and embedded software development.
Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to achieve high-quality deliverables.Expand CPC Capabilities: Plan and execute strategies to extend the system's support for additional elevator controller boards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new market requirements and adapt CPC capabilities to meet evolving demands.
