Local Unit & Position Description:
In work you will:
Act as a main point of contact in our Finance Department in Madrid and collaborate with various stakeholders in respect of transactions performed by our Legal Entities in Spain;Manage the relationship with internal/external parties responsible for preparing statutory financial statements;Coordinate tax filing in cooperation with internal/external parties;Take responsibility for the financial bookkeeping;Work closely with other departments to ensure accruals are accurate and complete;Initiate monthly balance sheet reviews and follow up on any open or un-reconciled items;Conduct monthly and quarterly trend analysis on balance sheet and P&L accounts;Monitor and manage cash flow forecasting of the specific entities in cooperation with Cash Management Team;Manage and coordinate Internal and External audits;Continuously develop, optimize & standardize finance processes.Position Qualifications:
To maximize your chances, you need:
Academic degree in Finance and Accounting or comparable qualification; formal ACCA or relevant qualification is a plus;Minimum 6 years' experience and knowledge in general accounting;Solid experience in international finance organization;Fluent in English (verbal and written);Solid knowledge of IFRS;Understanding of tax accounting principles to communicate effectively with a local vendor on local legislation (corporate tax, WHT, VAT, SII, local taxes, payroll taxes);Good understanding of all key business processes across functional areas;Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements;Ability to track any discrepancies to the core/primary transaction and implement effective resolution;Experience in financial controlling is an advantage;Good Excel and reporting skills.Company & Business Area Description:
