As Product Analyst - FX Derivatives, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of initiatives for new and existing products, and ensuring that the product meets the needs of its intended audience.
ResponsibilitiesSupporting end-to-end delivery of new initiatives as well as identifying and executing against improvements to current features and processes.Working closely with Product Owners to define requirements, epics and stories.Building out detailed Business Requirements documents, completing in-depth risk assessments and meeting all New Product Development milestones.Planning and execution of testing strategies in alignment with Technology.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.Designing, documenting and maintaining process mapping showing how different features interact with one another, or processes should flow.Developing and presenting product proposals to senior management teams.Conducting feasibility studies to determine whether a product will be profitable.Providing and communicating information about a product's features, performance, pricing, distribution channels, target markets, and competitors.Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement in current products and processes using data analysis tools.Conducting research/interviews and analysing client/market behaviour to better understand customer needs and to inform prioritisation and product roadmap.ExpectationsA strong understanding of FX Products: Spot, Swaps, Forwards, Vanilla Options and Structured Options.A strong grasp of how these products are brought to market and their target market.An up-to-date knowledge of market, industry and regulatory trends in your product area, and an interest in maintaining that knowledge.A relentless focus on the client, and will base decisions on feedback from clients, both internal and external.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate your product vision and performance to leadership, business and technical stakeholders and external partners.Good organisational abilities and strong project management skills.Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to understand systems and processes that underpin all areas of the business.Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.A minimum of 2 years experience in a Product function - ideally a BA role managing delivery/requirement gathering.Experience working in an agile environment across all project stages.A high level of organisational and project management skill.Strong analytical abilities.Proficiency in product management tools including Jira and Slack.Nice to haveExperience in Fintech or scale-up tech companies.Experience working with the credit underwriting or operation processes that support the FX product.About UsEbury is a FinTech success story, positioned among the fastest-growing international companies in its sector.
