Responsibilities:
Collaborate with several internal teams (business development, account management, product, digital) to ensure seamless program launches and execution.
Work to position Priceless strategy and Sponsorships as the way to bring our brand and Mastercard added value into our partners' space.
Manage strategy, creative development, media planning and execution of marketing campaigns guaranteeing high standards of quality and coherence versus client needs.
Maintain budgetary responsibilities for markcomms programs, lead tracking and recommend corrective action.
Establish close relations with markcomms agencies from briefing to execution, driving measurable results & cost efficiencies.
Manage relevant sponsorships and their correct implementation and leverage in the Iberian team (e.g. UCL, Disney, etc).
Build, protect and enhance Mastercard's brand and reputation through clear and impactful proactive marketing campaigns and external communications with tier-one media outlets.
Identify strategic industry events to participate with executive spokespeople. Prepare and host events focused on the company & market's main pillars.
Work closely with other external-facing teams in markcomms, Government, Public Affairs, etc. to ensure seamless alignment of messaging.
Establish strong relationships with priority media targets to deliver coverage for relevant campaigns and positioning for the business that reinforces Mastercard's priorities.
Proactively seek out and identify media opportunities and situations that could adversely impact Mastercard's reputation, and coordinate strategies and tactics to promote and protect the integrity of the company.
Write, film, edit and guide production of content for multi-platform internal communications vehicles (e.g. intranet, newsletters, videos, blogs, announcements, webcasts).
Lead internal CSR programs through preparation and implementation.
Gather input and data from internal stakeholders for market reporting to the region.
Experience:
BA Degree in Marketing, Communications, International Relations, Business or similar.
A first successful experience in a similar role.
Fluent in English, Portuguese & Spanish.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Strong relationship building, teamwork and collaborative skills.
Experience in developing and implementing effective communication strategies, specifically proactive earned media and campaigning.
Strong project management skills with ability to handle numerous tasks with tight deadlines.
Experience in complex risks and crisis management.
Experience in creative communications development, thought leadership, and associated measurement strategies.
Flexible; adapts quickly to changing priorities and works well under aggressive deadlines.
Self-directed; ability to think independently.
Forward thinking and proactive.
Well organized and extremely detail oriented.
