Job Summary: The MIS Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users of the company's Management Information Systems (MIS).
This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the MIS, ensuring its optimal performance, and addressing any issues or concerns raised by its users.
This role includes troubleshooting problems, providing training, and developing documentation.
The MIS Support Analyst also works with the MIS Manager to identify and implement improvements to the MIS.
Primary Responsibilities: Providing technical support for the MIS, responding to user queries, and resolving system or operational issues.
Assisting in the development and maintenance of the MIS to ensure it meets the needs of the organization and its users.
Conducting system analyses to identify and address potential issues and opportunities for system improvement.
Working with stakeholders to define and document system requirements, and ensuring these requirements are met.
Developing and maintaining user guides and working with the Training Team to create training materials and providing training to system users as necessary.
Working closely with the IT department to ensure the MIS is integrated with other systems, and to address any technical issues.
Conducting regular system audits to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data in the MIS.
Keeping abreast of developments in MIS technology and recommending upgrades or new systems as necessary.
Providing support for new MIS implementations.
Ad Hoc Projects as needed.
Qualifications Education: Associates degree or bachelor's degree in an IT or business-related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in MIS support.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated success with working independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in database management and relevant software.
Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Strong communication skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Good project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with data protection regulations and best practices.
Strong analytical skills and ability to break down, build and automate complicated business processes.
Technical Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency (CRM, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), internet and database management.
Ability to use tools for data manipulation are a plus.
Ability to write JavaScript code is a plus.
Soft Skills: Eager to learn.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations as needed.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
Physical Requirements: Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day.
