With market access to 90 percent of world's food basket and focused on high-growth regions, UPL represents a compelling value proposition for growers, distributors, suppliers and innovation partners in a consolidating market.UPL offers an integrated portfolio of both patented and post-patent agricultural solutions for various arable and specialty crops, including biological, crop protection, seed treatment and post-harvest solutions covering the entire crop value chain.****Tasks**- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition- Coordinate and secure the timely & accurate preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts and reports- Prepare and publish timely & accurate monthly financial statements & full set of reports (internal & external)- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting- Manage and coordinate credit controls and processes- Manage Working Capital & Cash flows- Support month-end and year-end close processes- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings,as well as Group policies & procedures- Secure the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls**Required skills & experience**- Proven working experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Controller, in a multinational environment- Minimum of 5 years of both accounting and finance experience at a managerial level- Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance- Excellent oral and written use of English (including financial terminology)- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures including local GAAP and IFRS.- Experience in the general ledger functions and the monthly & year-end closing processes.- Very good knowledge of local labor legislation- SAP FICO experience is a must.**We are all about connecting with people, in a human way - showing respect, demonstrating trust, celebrating diversity.For us technology is an enabler, not the endgame.
