Mission and Purpose Maximize alumni engagement through the services and activities the Alumni Association develops and deploys for its alumni community across the world.
Responsibilities Project & Design: Develop the Annual Plan of the international Alumni Learning Program (ALP).
Event Planning and Coordination: Identify faculty availability resulting from international program modules and faculty travel, aligning annual activity plans with Alumni Chapter Boards. This can also include local speakers on occasion, depending on topics and Chapter needs.
Event Management: Identify and liaise with event venues (sponsored through alumni companies or paid venues): event spaces, technical requirements, catering.
Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics related to speakers, participant registration, materials management (name badges and possible communication materials).
Lead the Chapter Board Activity: Manage Alumni Chapter Board teams, transmit Alumni Association main objectives, consider specific Chapter needs, and leverage the Boards' (voluntary) ambassadorship.
Project the Chapter Board Renovation Process: Oversee 3-6 year President rotation cycles.
Alumni Marketing and Communications Management: Oversee the Alumni Division's Marketing and Communications activity in adherence with IESE and Marketing Communications (CMC) Department brand and visual identity guidelines.
Website and Material Maintenance: Maintain and update the Alumni website, Alumni App, and printed materials.
Communication Needs Anticipation: Anticipate communication needs from different areas within the Alumni Division.
Creative Development Coordination: Coordinate required creative development and production of related web and printed materials.
Event Leadership: Co-lead major events of the division, such as the Global Alumni Reunion (GAR), Business Summits, and special occasion event series.
Resource Management: Help lead the team of Chapter Coordinators, ensuring clear understanding of objectives and managing the continuous challenge of planning and stakeholder management.
Budget Management and Administration: Ensure costs versus budgets are monitored and administration is managed appropriately.
Alumni Special Projects: Prioritize and dynamically implement new services or processes that will benefit the whole community.
Qualifications IESE's MBA.
5 years of related experience in business development, events, marketing, and communication skills.
Requirements Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally cross-functionally and with internal and external stakeholders, including senior faculty and business development colleagues, particularly in English.
Organizational skills and ability to plan, anticipate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Client and stakeholder service orientation, balancing needs, service orientation, and rigor.
Results-oriented: highly motivated to proactively achieve objectives, both individually and as part of a team.
Global mindset, able to work with people from different backgrounds, respecting different cultures and needs.
Resource optimizer, including budget management and administration processing.
