This position is part of the Global Services Logistics Team and will be located in Barcelona/Spain. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Ensure import/export requests are resolved quickly to prevent disruptions in supply chain.Manage the impact of Customs Law and Regulation, Customs Processes and Procedures, Tariff Classification, Rules of Origin, Customs Valuation, and Customs Declarations for Cepheid's services business worldwide.Ensure 100% adherence to laws, regulations, and corporate policy, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer policies/requirements.Review and approve shipping documents and commercial invoices.Continuous process improvement mindset: identify gaps in current processes and procedures. Provide recommendations to improve operational processes.The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/International Trade or Supply Chain.Expert knowledge in international trade regulations.Good knowledge of incoterms and impacts to supply chain and logistics.5+ years of "hands-on" cross-border working experience, including strong connections with regulatory authorities in key regions/specific countries.Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Customs brokerageFinanceCustomer ServiceAt Cepheid, we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
