(X281) - Vat Analyst

Job Purpose: To assist in the preparation of the VAT, Intrastat and EC sales reporting so submissions can be completed accurately and submitted to the relevant authorities on time for Azlan, TDI and TDM.
Responsibilities: The position reports to the VAT Analyst in the Reporting & Controlling team for Azlan Logistics. In order to provide satisfactory service the position must focus on:
Download of all returns dataEnsure all data is analysed and anomalies investigated and if necessary corrected so accurate VAT Returns can be submitted to the relevant authorities within the set deadline.Ensure all Intrastat reports are reconciled to VAT returns and submitted to the relevant authorities within given timescales.Ensure EC Sales Lists are reconciled to the VAT return and submitted on time.Ensure correct VAT postings are being made by the finance team, and liaising with the team when corrections are needed.Ensure all PO's raised are correct for intrastat reporting and liaising with purchasing when corrections are needed.Assist with other additional reporting requirements as needed.Knowledge Skills and Experience:
