Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Windows Administrator to join our growing IT department in Barcelona! This is an exciting time to join our Yo Brands business as you will help deliver our End User Computing services, technologies, and processes which are critical to the productivity of our workforce.
This key role manages all End User Windows & Mac images and devices, mobile device/application management, and other EUC technologies, with responsibilities for effective delivery and operational support for PC imaging, packaging, software distribution, patching, and overall PC lifecycle management. You will be hands-on while working directly with our third-party providers for daily support and ongoing improvement of our Windows and MAC toolset as well as other tools and solutions, such as meeting rooms, laptops, printers, and LAN/WAN connectivity.
Primary operational point of contact for our strategic EUC outsourcing partner/s.Assures that the End-User Computing support team (a third party) operates effectively to meet defined Service Level Agreements and defined customer expectations.Ability to lead and develop a new Sysadmin team (in the future), focusing on team-building, mentoring, and strategic planning to support organizational growth and infrastructure goals.Lead and drive continuous improvement opportunities in end user computing experience.Develop and maintain a solution roadmap, product catalog, and vision for End User Computing technologies and processes.Service NOW Ticketing tool & JIRA Services Management (Incident, Service Requests, Asset management).Serve as the escalation point for End User issues and problems.Build strong internal customer relationships to ensure we are aligned to customer and business needs while prioritizing key initiatives.Interface with Senior IT leadership on problem/incident calls and act as an escalation point.Manage an endpoint software distribution solution that encompasses modern imaging, packaging, and software deployment best practices.Engage external partners to create and maintain a hardware and client software roadmap that will contribute to a productive workforce.Maintain awareness of changing IT trends and regulations which might impact the company and develop strategies that will mitigate any incoming risks and/or take advantage of any future benefits.Assess upcoming technologies and recommend innovative use of new features and technologies related to desktop management with the objective of enhancing end user experience.Develop and sustain current documentation relating to areas of responsibility.Work within established configuration, change management policies, and security policies for ensuring awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the areas of responsibility.Work and communicate with a wide range of people – leadership, peers, vendors, staff members, and others.QualificationsSpanish native speaker with good understanding of written and oral English.Living in Barcelona area or willing to relocate.Bachelor degree in the area of Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or similar.5+ Years of experience architecting EUC solutions and processes.5+ Years of experience managing Microsoft end user technologies: SSO, Networking, Active Directory, LDAP, End Point Security, Antivirus.Networking knowledge, experience in managing IPSec VPN's, Firewalls, Switches, LAN, and WLANs.Experience in monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, or similar).Experience in Managing relational databases MS SQL Server, MySql, or PostgreSQL.Experience working with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.Experience in scripting and automating tasks using languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar, to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.Experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare or similar.Experience in managing backup technologies.Experience in End-User Security best practices.Good at creating technical documentation and process definition.Experience managing Spain dispersed offices and venues and external contract resources and outsourced services (contract, control, SLAs, priorities).Personal Qualities Customer focus & ownership mindset.Results oriented and a bias for action, with a can-do attitude.Embraces change and innovation.Additional Information#LI-MS1
