What you will do: Manage and lead energy assessment analysis for a group of projects, including data management, site design and optimization, met campaigns modeling, and production assessments.Manage and lead subcontracted energy assessment activities for approximately 50+ projects and 100+ met towers.Perform and outsource energy assessment analysis, including statistical analysis of data, wind flow modeling, technical loss evaluation, and uncertainty analysis.Define and survey met mast operation, especially regarding quality of measurement and compliance with applicable rules.Provide analytic support for turbine suitability process.Participate in the monthly data validation and troubleshoot sensor quality.Provide site design and layout-optimization support.Provide met campaign designs and coordinate with logistics and development on the implementation of campaigns.Conduct on-site visits to open areas in countries worldwide.Support Development team in the prospecting process.Provide analytic support for commercial RFP process and financial pro forma models.Specialization programming, remote sensing, CFD, and satellite imagery and data recovery.Attend technical forums and International Committees.Additional duties as required.Employment type: Full-Time Work site: Hybrid Model
What are we looking for: Qualification: BS degree in Engineering, Meteorology, or a related field. MS preferred.
Experience: +1 to 5 years performing energy assessment tasks.
Specific requirements: Proficient knowledge of Wind resource techniques, Microsoft Office software; programming in R or Python; basic knowledge of Matlab and statistical methods; GIS tools.
Skills/competences: Strong commitment, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work under tight deadlines and in complex partnership arrangements.Ability to drive subcontractors.Ability to work in a team but also take initiative and be result-oriented.Ability to make rational decisions, even when under pressure.Accomplished planning, risk management, and organization skills.Ability to coordinate different internal stakeholders without hierarchical link and to analyze multiple experts.Good communication, networking, and influencing skills.Strong command of the English language (written and spoken).Strong sense of values and ethics, including confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.Strong quantitative and analytical skills.Ability to multi-task and work concurrently on multiple projects.High attention to detail.Ability to be self-motivated.Proven ability to learn new software programs.More than academic knowledge and technical skills, we are looking for ambitious people who are enthusiastic about the future and who bring human skills aligned with our purpose.
