We are now looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join our Global UWS Sales team. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Alboraya, Spain.
What will you be doing: Generate customer-specific solutions, specifications, and quotations according to the needs of the Sales, for the Wartsila Underwater Services portfolio.Bid management.Evaluate inquiries and register/maintain opportunity information in CRM.Configure solutions according to defined needs.Preparing cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets.Evaluate the technical and environmental risks of the solution.Ensure that response time for sales inquiries/requests/orders are met.Understand the customer needs and contribute in supporting them to meet their objectives.For us to be the best match, we expect you to have:
Sales skills or Technical insight and experience from working in the maritime industry is a plus.Sales and/or technical experience from previous roles.Knowledge in CRM Sales Force tools and technical background, if possible, related to the shipping industry.A safety-first mindset.Technical education or equivalent qualifications as a combination of education and experience.Experience in a customer-facing role with responsibility for collating costs and invoices.Excellent organisational skills and customer empathy.Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.Demonstrable teamwork skills and the ability to adjust and re-plan in dynamic situations.A working knowledge of commercial administration processes.Passion for the Underwater Services business and willingness to drive it to the next level.Experience in the Maritime Industry.Ability to work in multicultural/international business environments.Self-driven and motivated with a continuous learning ability.Openness & willingness to adapt to change.Proficient negotiation skills.
