Position Title: Head of EMEA Pre-Construction People Manager
Location: Dublin, London, Frankfurt, Madrid, UAE
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent engineering science. 10+ years of related construction management experience of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants. 5+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, leading, and coaching construction management and/or engineering professionals. 5+ years of experience in pre-construction activities such as site due diligence, design management, and procurement strategy development. 7+ years of experience in hiring, promoting, disciplining, and developing teams of professional construction/engineering staff. General contractor and vendor management experience (request for proposals, bidding, change orders) associated with construction and project execution. Key Responsibilities: The Pre-Construction lead will be responsible for building a team that establishes standard pre-construction processes for the EMEA region and align those processes globally. Establish key pre-construction metrics that measure the performance of internal and external stakeholders. Provide the Construction deployment team with design and procurement inputs on time ahead of construction start. Build and manage interfaces with internal teams and develop cross-functional alignment to deliver results. Preferred Qualifications: Experience directly related to the design or construction of data centers/critical infrastructure or large scale mechanical and electrical plants. Experience working in Colocation data center environment. Experience working on construction projects across EMEA region. Experience with large scale technical operations, mission-critical mechanical/electrical infrastructure, or large-scale compute farms. Experience with power management and power monitoring systems. Certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), LEED, and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
