Job DescriptionLocation: Flexible - must be in a European time zone.
The Vice President of Global Renewals is accountable for contract negotiations for one of NIQ client groups or services globally. They must possess strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of contractual terms, adept financial acumen, and excellent communication skills to ensure the outcomes meet the organization's needs. This professional will support a critical part of our business by aiding in the retention and growth of our largest clients.
You will be part of a team of unique experts focused on understanding how and why our clients license solutions from NielsenIQ to translate into value and commitment via a contract. Leveraging your expertise, you will develop recommendations and strategies for a deal including solutions, pricing, and terms to address current and future needs. You will collaborate across various internal partners to align and negotiate the appropriate approach supporting the revenue function of our organization. In this role you will be critical to ensuring our offers are accurate, timely, and best represent the strategy developed.
Responsibilities Plan renewal opportunities in advance year to year to set goal and objectivesAssess and track client health to formulate an objective assessment of risks and opportunitiesDevelop the renewal strategyClear and concise communication skills to effectively engage with senior leadersLead the analysis and preparation of contract renewals and Competitive Request for Proposals (RFP)Coach and consult internal teams regarding the generation of the deal regarding solutions, incentives, and termsCollaborate internally with cross-functional teams to align the strategy.Effectively challenge and influence internal teamsUnderstand NielsenIQ's corporate strategy to aid in the process and proposed solutionsPartner with account leads to develop win themes aligning client priorities to NIQReview and interpret contract terms and conditionsNegotiate agreements with clients and other stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate potential risks and liabilities associated with contractsEnsure that contracts comply with requirementsCollaborate with legal and finance teams to develop contract termsDevelop and maintain relationships with clientsA little bit about you Are you someone that not only manages in the present but also plans the future?
