Summary: Marcon is looking for a Senior Leader to oversee an experienced group of Senior Development Managers and Coordinators, managing all aspects of real estate development within Marcon's portfolio.

About the Role:
Strategy and Growth: Work with senior leaders to ensure department goals align to Marcon's overall strategic imperatives. Participate with the executive team in identifying and developing the strategic direction of the development division. Plan for team growth aligned to portfolio growth strategy. Assist senior leaders with acquisition and investment initiatives as required.
Project Development: Refine and develop operational processes and systems to enhance workflow for the development team and collaboration with other departments within Marcon, commensurate with the scale and complexity of the organization. Take a leadership role in establishing standards, playbooks, and similar best practice guides for Marcon product. Monitor and course correct key development metrics influencing the financial health of Marcon's development projects throughout the development process. Actively support new projects as the Marcon pipeline grows and lead capacity planning for the development team.
Work with team members, identify project obstacles and be prepared to delve deeper into project activities when required. Work on political and bureaucratic strategies at various levels of government and support implementation as required. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders for all development activities, particularly consultants and city officials. Offer guidance and support throughout the development process, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and maintain the vision set at the outset for the project. Identify conflicts and demonstrate and teach solid conflict resolution methods when necessary.
Team Management: In collaboration with Human Resources, attract top talent to Marcon. Energize, supervise, mentor, and support the career growth of your team. Foster an environment of accountability, excellence, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.
About You: You have a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role. You believe in lifelong learning and professional development. You have proven experience developing mixed-use residential/commercial projects and master plan communities.
