Position: Operations Manager for Spain & PortugalThe location of this position is required to be in Madrid, Spain.
Key Responsibilities:Leading the operations teamSupport the Operations team with day to day activities (order processing, invoicing, direct sales, etc.)Development of new KPIs to analyze efficiency and effectiveness of the teamStandardization and simplification of processes to focus more on value-added tasks, connecting with other sales subsPrepare analysis of materials and any other analysis useful to provide the business with insight-data on customers and be more proactive in the customer needsAnalyze and optimize the flow of invoicing (E.g.: continued implementation of Electronic Data Interchange)Responsible for the preparation and implementation of the new global ERP systemOrders Processing & Invoicing: Opening new accounts, daily entering of orders, invoicing, issuing credit notesLogistics management: Manage warehouse, import, export and local transportation to ensure smooth logistics flow, improve inventory management and optimize logistics expensesInventory management: Optimize inventory value and increase working capital turns. Work with allocation situations to ensure maintenance to right level inventory to service clients. Look at days stock at hand, inventory value, stock take accuracy and other relevant metricsReduce DSO: Reduce day sales outstanding in line with stretch goalsISO: Enable obtaining ISO 9001/14001 certification to comply with audits and zero non-conformitiesQuality: Ensure compliance to relevant internal and external quality standards; preparation of audits and sustainment of follow-up actions.
