ROLE SUMMARY
Eliquis (Apixaban) is one of the largest contributors to Pfizer and one of the Internal Medicine & Vaccines Division's key brands.
Eliquis posts significant growth and revenue attainment as well as achievement of multiple significant leadership milestones.
Eliquis operates in a fast-paced, competitive environment with a comprehensive marketing plan promoting multiple indications and reaching multiple stakeholders.
Eliquis is a co-promoted product with Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) and offers experience operating in a high-functioning joint venture and Alliance structure.
This role is a unique opportunity to demonstrate strong business acumen and cross-functional leadership.
The role will require high flexibility, ability to drive change and deal with uncertainty, proven experience in delivering creative approaches to solve issues, and a track record of working GLocally with challenging deadlines.
Active collaboration with different stakeholders, local and global cross-functional members and colleagues to support brand/account strategies and deliver results.
Responsibilities: Strategy Execution:
- Lead development of Country brand plan
- Accountable for tailoring (glocalizing) global brand strategies, tactical programs and specific customer experiences to meet local market needs.
- Drive execution of brand strategy in country - lead implementation of key brand programs
- Identify, develop, and execute any key projects that enhance our business performance and independently lead projects.Leadership:
- Lead in-country cross-functional team, including coordinating and directing the activities of members of the team as appropriate to achieve success.
- Accountable for the planning and coordination of stakeholder engagement across functions to meet IM Category objectives.
- Active collaboration with internal marketing team members as well as external co-promotion players.Financial Planning:
- Support the development of brand LRF and LE forecast numbers ensuring credible assumptions in line with performance expectations.
- Prepare ad-hoc business cases to maximize identified market opportunities.Customer Engagement & Insights:
- Partner with customer-facing leadership team to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and incorporation of market feedback.
- Coordinate with customer-facing sales, medical, HSP, local customers and local e-marketing colleagues for a solid plan ensuring strong external stakeholder and customer engagement.
- Alignment with the rest of the functions such as Omnichannel, Content & Channel, Market Access.
- Ensure that customer and patient insights as well as market issues are well understood and processed into local business plans.QUALIFICATIONS: University degree in Science, Health Science or Business required.Proven pharmaceutical business experience as a marketeer (> 5yrs).Understands trends in health care and pharmaceuticals, customer and stakeholder landscape, competitive dynamics, and sources of business.Prior experience of working in/with Country Leadership teams within the Glocal framework.Strong strategic mindset, analytic and business acumen.Proficient written and spoken English and Spanish.CAPABILITIES: Strong project management and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders.Patients First mindset.Co-promotion experience if possible.Comfort with ambiguity and complex environments.Strong interpersonal skills required as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to manage & prioritize resources across customers in line with BU strategy and in dialogue with customer-facing functions.Broad expertise across local customers at PC and hospital level.Create a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by leading changes and acting decisively in complex and fast-moving environments.Purpose:
