For our Supply Chain Management team, it is critical to have in place the correct and complete information regarding supply demand for the upcoming years. The growth Hitachi Energy is facing and a supply-driven market, with some cases of lack of capacity, requires a well-detailed Sales & Operations Planning to be established across functions, allowing SCM and our Suppliers/Partners to operate effectively and efficiently.
Join the Grid Integration Supply Chain core team, directly reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Management for Grid Integration. Your mission would be to implement a solid and consistent Sales & Operations Planning allowing the SCM function to operate at its best.
Your Responsibilities Implement the SCM Sales & Operations Planning, including creation and implementation of the processes, procedures, and tools as needed.Execute the annual Supply Chain budgeting spend plan in conjunction with each Global Product Group and Hub Business Unit SCM Manager.Follow a project called "Scale to Potential" where SCM has a specific "Capacity Workstream" that must be followed up and implemented in the upcoming years to secure our business growth.Achieve business targets through regular review of "Scale to Potential Capacity Workstream" defined KPIs and implement improvement plans as needed.Support all critical Suppliers Capacity Reservation Agreements negotiations.Implement the SCM Sales & Operations Planning, in support of the three Global Product Groups within Hitachi Energy Grid Integration Business Unit: HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), GPQSS (Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service), and SEMI (Semiconductors).Independently lead a team of resources dedicated to SCM S&OP, ensuring that the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, and skilled properly. Guide, motivate, and develop indirect subordinates, assuring team performance.Live core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your BackgroundMore than 10 years of experience in an equivalent industry with proven track records of successful S&OP implementation/management.In-depth and successful experience of implementing global Sales and Operations Planning in large, international organizations.Previous leadership experience in strategy/roadmap creation in supply base management and/or in Material Planning functions.Strong communication and influencing skills in global organizations.A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Knowledge of specialized S&OP software/platforms and S/4Hana.Customer focus with the ability to build effective working relationships and inspire others.Fluent in English.
