As a humble family business that started 70 years ago, popularly known as AMW, now a fully-owned subsidiary of Al Futtaim Group (AFG) of United Arab Emirates, is one of the pioneers in the Automotive industry in Sri Lanka.KEY REQUIREMENTSFully qualified from an internationally recognized professional accountancy body (CA, CIMA, ACCA or CFA) and/or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration from a recognized university.Minimum 3-year work experience in a similar capacity; experience in the automotive industry would be an added advantage.Expert problem-solving abilities and significant analytical skillset.Ability to quickly understand the issues impacting each business division and lead and drive change through the business with a focus on KPIs and customer centricity.Provide financial leadership and strategic decision-making support with strong leadership capabilities.Ability to manage and understand large, multi-brand businesses and possess good communication skills.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFormation, presentation, and delivery of the divisional/company strategy including financial modeling and budgeting assistance.Provide decision-making support to the management with an in-depth understanding of the business.Operational reporting, controls, and exceptions management.Preparation of communications including presentations, assistance in principal reporting/management information on a regular and ad hoc basis.Forecasting, feasibility studies, and business planning.Internal and external coordination as and when required.
