Job Title: Head of Business Operations Planning - Travel DistributionSummary: The role of Head of Business Operations Planning in Travel Distribution (TRD) involves leading critical budgeting processes, including long-term planning and quarterly cycles.
It requires close collaboration with the TRD Investment Governance team and overseeing a team of Business Operations Planners.
The role also entails managing capacity with Finance and People and Culture teams and designing the organizational structure for the product management and engineering teams, as well as facilitating collaboration among the different managerial stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Budgeting Processes: Drives operational part of the Budgeting Processes, including yearly Budget cycle, and Quarterly BPOP arbitration cycles, for all Travel Distribution Business Domains (NDC; LCC; Air GDS, Master Pricer, search IT; Seco, Rail, TOIT; LPD) and Transversal Functions (Portfolio Strategy and Governance; Industry and Platform; User Experience).
Contributes to the creation and review of the LTP.
Leads team of Business Operations Planners who are in charge of these processes in their respective business domains and transversal functions, working in close collaboration with the TRD Investment Governance team.Capacity Management: Leads overall Capacity Management Processes, including Monthly CCOP processes in close cooperation with Finance and People and Culture, for TRD-PMT and TRD-ENG (including all of the various teams: DIR, ESA, ABO, AIR, FOR, LPD, RAI).
Leads team of Business Operations Planners who are in charge of these processes in their respective functions.People Management Responsibilities: Assist, guide and motivate team members in their assigned functions.
Build a strong operations planning and product excellence unit, focus the team around a common vision, and help them in their day to day execution.
Define and follow-up objectives for individuals in line with organizational goals, drive trainings and engagement.
Attract, retain and develop talent ensuring a talent pipeline for key positions.
Conduct bi-annual performance review meetings.Footprint Organizational Design: Leads the strategic and tactical design of organizational footprint for all of the TRD Product Management and Engineering teams, feeding into the various Corporate and Business Unit initiatives.Additional Management Responsibilities: Facilitation of collaboration subjects and Management Agenda for the TRD Product Management and Engineering management team.The Ideal Candidate:University degree in Business, Economic, Product Management or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Analytically strong leadership abilities being able to elevate our operations to new heights of excellence.
Proven track record in leading budgeting and capacity management processes and organizational design.
