Job Description SummaryThe Services Specialist (Problem Solver) will leverage their background and experience with Offshore Wind, and work with Site Teams, Fleet Engineering, Design Engineering, Controls Engineering, and Continuous Improvement Organizations to identify opportunities for new analytics. They will then work with the analytic development team to transform theory and ideas to reality. Once analytics are released, they will work with our Onshore operations team to identify and communicate confirmed findings to the field, and identify opportunities for improvements. This is a dynamic role that requires humility, focus, and a drive to solve challenging problems that make a real difference to both technicians in the field and the end customer.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAs a Services Specialist - Technical Support, you will:Help solve deep technical problems remote of the turbine asset.Dig deeply into the drivers for certain faults and assign a root cause traceable to the correct turbine component.Influence multiple global service teams to execute turbine repairs due to Analytic Advisement as a result of Root Cause Analyses.Track business metrics associated with the deployed analytics and identify where we have savings and shortfalls due to site actions.Lead technical support for issue resolution on monitored turbines, including root causes for AEP shortfalls, availability issues, or parameter changes.Support technical and operational customer meetings and data requests.Contribute to continuous improvement of the analytic tools necessary to maintain the FSA / OSA / Power-Up fleet at maximum performance.Maximize Business Opportunity for all identified operational changes and track benefit over a longer time frame.Manage time standards and execution metrics and identify benefits and shortfalls.Required Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED- Minimum of 5 years experience in wind turbine maintenance, troubleshooting, or related roles (2 years of which spent on 3x platform).To comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years' experience required for any role based within the USA. For roles outside of the USA, to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, the JDs should focus on the substantive level of experience required for the role and a minimum number of years should NOT be used.As a federal government contractor, GE requires U.S. employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless an employee is in a state where this requirement is temporarily paused for federal contractors.
