The RoleReporting to the Head of Customer Onboarding Program, Public Affairs & Patient Advocacy, the Corporate Public Affairs & Patient Advocacy Manager leads Global Patient Advocacy & Public Affairs Strategy to be the point of reference in each market by meeting their needs and promoting collaborative work for the fulfillment of individual and collective objectives globally impacting the company's value.Main Responsibilities- Creates and implements Global Patient Advocacy & Public Affairs Strategy, including: Identification & Co-management of global stakeholders network, definition and deployment of engagement plan, finding creative ways to reach out to critical stakeholders.- Leadership of communication plans, campaigns & Advisory Boards.- Manage relationships across related business functions (market access, communication, legal, marketing, medical, etc.) of all divisions to align Ferrer positions and ensure delivery of common messages.- Build effective collaborations with patient advocacy organizations to improve the overall organizational approach to enhance patient experience.- Work with patient advocacy groups to deepen Ferrer's understanding of patients and their needs to cope and succeed with our therapies.- Partner with patients and caregivers to co-create experience design of all company processes involving the patient (onboarding patient programs, channels, welcome pack). Systematically interact directly with them to act on patient perspectives early and maintain an ongoing dialogue to develop solutions that better meet needs.- Strengthen the image of Ferrer in the political-strategic arena, positioning Ferrer as a purpose-driven company focused on making a positive impact in society by offering transformative therapeutic solutions, with an increasing focus on pulmonary vascular and interstitial lung diseases and neurological disorders.- Act as Ferrer Ambassador to extend reliable alliances, building and maintaining sound and stable relationships with all key stakeholders (patient associations, government, regulators, thought leaders, NGOs).- Monitor progress against targets. Measure and report performance of planned activities.Education and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science.- MBA or advanced degree in Political Science/Public Affairs, Communication or Law preferred.- 5 years of relevant work experience in a leadership function in the healthcare or life science industry is an advantage but not a requirement.- Proven leadership skills in cross-functional global teams.- International experience required.- Strong analytics with excellent overall business acumen.- Advanced in MS Excel and Office tools.- Fluent in written and spoken English.
