YOUR MISSION
We are seeking a talented and experienced Payroll Lead to join our team and oversee payroll operations in Spain.
THE JOURNEY
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Spain, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
Coordinate with external vendors, such as payroll service providers and tax authorities, to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
Payroll coordination - be the intermediary between HR, Finance, Legal and the outsourced payroll provider to ensure there is clear communication between departments for efficient payroll service.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Supervise the payroll administration: collect all payroll-related information from managers & prepare, generate, check and submit payroll figures on a monthly basis.
Assist with special projects and initiatives related to payroll, including system upgrades and process improvements.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
Proven experience (at least 4 years) in payroll management, with specific expertise in Spanish payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong knowledge of Spanish payroll, Social Security, tax regulation and administration.
Prior experience leading a team of payroll professionals, with excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and Spanish.
Proactive, hands-on, and eager to get your hands dirty!
Detail-oriented - you are a freak when it comes to details.
Always looking for ways to improve the process and optimize coordination between colleagues.
