Job SummaryThe Chief Engineer is responsible for all administrative, financial and operating aspects of the hotel as they directly relate to the Engineering division.

General RequirementsSome of the responsibilities you will be entrusted with:Supervise and train all Engineering staff in Customer Service, Empowerment and Standard Operating Procedures.Create and adhere to the annual budget and CAPEX for the department.Develop and implement plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds, and other assets in an acceptable state of repair.Ensure the hotel is in compliance with all local and federal laws.Administer all vendor contracts controlled by the engineering department.Assure implementation of Wyndham policies, standards, and procedures for Fire & Life Safety programs and Physical security programs.Education & ExperienceDegree in Engineering or related studies.Minimum 3 years' experience as Chief Engineer within a similarly sized branded hotel.Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams.Intermediate - advanced level knowledge of Excel, Word, and AutoCAD required.Must be able to communicate effectively in Spanish.
