Come have a seat at our table. Meaningful Work From Day One The Global Brand Director, Gins will be a key member of the Global Emerging Brands team.
Working closely with the Managing Director, he/she will be an integral part of the group responsible for the development and deployment of the global brand business strategy and long-term value creation for the company's Gin portfolio - Fords Gin and Gin Mare.
Brown-Forman has ambitious targets for both gin brands which means they need to deliver consistent, double digit profitable growth year on year, so the Global Brand Director will play a vital role in ensuring this ambition is achieved.
What You Will Do in This Role Manage the long term profitable growth of the Gin portfolio ensuring long term value creation is achieved and acquisition models are met. Work closely with the Fords Gin Brand Director, overseeing the existing strategy and priorities on Fords Gin, giving support to that team where needed. Ensure the smooth transition of the Marketing plans and services from Vantguard (Gin Mare) to Brown-Forman, making sure that business continuity is not affected. Recruit Global Marketing Manager, Gin Mare and ensure a seamless transition to the brand and the business. Work closely with key Gin Mare markets, specifically Italy, Germany, Spain and GTR, ensuring continuity of plans and sharing of best practice. Develop B-F Gin strategy, detailing how B-F should approach the gin category, how Gin Mare and Fords Gin complement each other and how the brands approach innovation and pricing. Work with the Managing Director on long-term value creation brand/business strategy as well as annual planning, positioning, portfolio and pricing strategy, BVI/packaging, integrated comms strategy, advocacy and home place strategy. Close interaction and collaboration with the supply team, overseeing the IBP process for gins ensuring consistent supply. Involvement and ownership of key elements of Global marketing mix. Work closely with the Managing Director and cross functional teams on portfolio development and enhancement, NPD, managing cross functional processes and teams, to deliver projects on time in full collaboration with key brand and agency partners around the world. Lead and collaborate with cross market teams on Global brand platforms development, ensuring global consistency. Participation in the S&I (strategy and ideation) process around the world. Development and ownership of Global brand toolkits/programmes relevant across Off/On/Ecom/Global Travel Retail. Oversee all primary packaging projects on the brands. Development and management of global brands budget. Sharing proven best practice to foster accelerated business growth. We Are Looking For People Who B.A.
plus 10+ years marketing and or sales experience in a consumer goods environment. Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent). Experience: Successful track record in full mix consumer marketing in the spirits industry. Demonstrated experience in developing, executing and managing brand strategies, plans and budgets. Experience managing outside agencies and motivating them to excel (PR, Digital, Experiential, ATL, Innovation etc.
). Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative "big ideas" which grow brands. Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams. Successful track record in developing and executing marketing strategies which drive growth. Meaningful experience in integrated comms and media strategy development and planning. New product development experience and track record of success. Numeracy and commercial acumen, including demonstrated ability to interpret and manage a P&L. Strong brief writing and co-creation skills. What Makes You Unique Strong verbal and written communicator who can create clear images through words.
