Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance and Accounting to lead our global finance operations. This key role will oversee global bookkeeping, financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, vendor relationships, tax, and more. Based in India, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, maintaining compliance across regions, and ensuring smooth financial operations across all our global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accounting: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial planning to support decision-making and business growth. Work with company executives to create a yearly operating budget, developing, analyzing, and interpreting information to evaluate operating results in terms of profitability and performance against budget.
Global Operations: Manage financial operations across multiple regions (US, UK, India, and Singapore), ensuring compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and international financial standards.
Cash Flow Management: Ensure efficient cash flow management, cost controls, and working capital optimization to maintain financial stability across global operations. Manage all tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, employee expenses, and sales commissions.
Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish and maintain strong internal controls, processes, and financial systems to safeguard the company's assets and ensure SOX compliance, if applicable.
