Tribe Technological Lead - Swift ProductCountry: Spain
MISSION: The Swift team within PagoNxt is responsible for providing end-to-end Swift connectivity services to all Santander business units and to the open market.
The SWIFT Tribe technological lead is responsible for the maintenance of the SWIFT platform including all the infrastructure, hardware, integration applications and connections required for the correct provisioning of the service. He/she will be also responsible for the technological evolution of the solution engaging in this function with SWIFT and with the rest of technical chapters and families in the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILIDADES: Key responsibilities include:
Messaging/BAU executionProvide a fully resilient and high availability 24x7 service including a flawless traffic and a straight through processing of all kinds of messaging services within the SWIFT platform.Maintain a cost-effective operation.Process and platform improvementsPlan, coordinate, and execute all required platform improvements including all standard releases and all changes required to comply with both internal policies and regulatory requirements.Integration layer administration (MERVA, GSTP, Others)Administrate the integration solutions under the scope of the Global product (MERVA, GSTP), managing the demand and needs of the units consuming these solutions.Technological risk managementImplement all required initiatives to manage and minimize risk according to Group policies.Define, implement and supervise all required controls and indicators to successfully track risk levels.Implement corrective measures where needed.Crisis/incident managementDefine and keep updated all protocols and procedures associated with crisis and incident management according with the service availability requirements. Work with all SWIFT users and stakeholders to define these requirements and resulting procedures.Prompt and timely execution of these procedures when crisis protocol is activated.Cyber protocols and standardsWorking in alignment with the SWIFT CISO, supervise and implement Group cyber strategy in the Product and adoption of Global Defenses. Ensure adoption of Global Controls minimum requirements in alignment with Business risk appetite as part of the cyber strategy.Ensure adoption of Global Defenses and Controls minimum requirements.Ensure appropriate hardening is in place in the Swift platform, implementing best practices.Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan CoordinationWorking in alignment with the SWIFT CISO:Define and manage Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans including all required infrastructure.Ensure and execute annual reviews.Technological strategyDefine SWIFT technological strategy in alignment with Santander technological strategy and the Product evolution plan.Work closely with SWIFT to understand their technological strategy in terms of APIs usage, instant payments and cloud. Identify impact in Product strategy and plan and coordinate required changes or initiatives to enrich Product strategy.EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidate will be a worldwide recognized leader with a track record in setting up and leading high-performance teams.
Required experience and expertise include:
Excellent expertise in managing a diverse set of stakeholders and requirements including regulatory supervision.Excellent expertise in managing technological platforms and in-depth knowledge of system architecture, distributed systems, Lynux, LDAP and authentication systems.Experience working with payment Systems and Swift messaging applications.Experienced in developing and managing high performing teams through growing people, nurturing trust in the group and establishing a shared sense of purpose.Ability to work under pressure.Ability to inspire engagement in people through leading by example and cultivating a culture of transparency and staff influence.Capable of producing high quality output with a strong focus on attention to detail.Ability to understand the business context and technology and to manage uncertainty.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively across a wide range of stakeholders. Proven ability to explain security issues clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.Strong negotiating, conflict resolution, influencing and stakeholder management skills to ensure effective change management.Strong problem solving and innovative mindset to ensure a clear focus on the forward agenda.Desirable qualifications include:
Technical degree such as in computer science, engineering or similar.Information security/risk management certification such as ISO27001, BS7799, ISACA, CISSP, etc.SWIFT Specialist in Customer Infrastructure.5 to 10 years management experience in information technology functions.Experience in the financial/banking industry.Most significant relationships: Swift Product Owner.Swift Product CISO.Swift Product team.Swift stakeholders in the different Group business units.SDS teams including database, connectivity, implementation, production and systems architecture teams.
