Our mission is to become the go-to brand for anyone who loves Japan and wants to go there.We sell a variety of products to our customers traveling to Japan: tours, Japan Rail Passes, activities, excursions, train tickets, accommodation, SIM cards, etc.As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Product team in Tokyo as Product Manager.The scope of this role will cover the following products: Internet access products (SIM cards, E-SIM cards, and Pocket Wifi) and transportation products (car rental, long-distance buses, ferries but nothing train-related).Your main responsibilities will include:Design products: coordinate the different steps of setting up the product until it is live on the market, defining the product description, select the media channels, define their supply chain process.Select suppliers, negotiate the best purchase conditions, with various service providers in coordination with the Operations team.Put products online, define and manage their promotion with the help of the digital team.Supervise the update of the product database and rates.Analyze product performance (profitability, customer satisfaction, monitoring margins...).Train and monitor sales teams on the products you design.Minimum Requirements:Language Skills: English: Business level; Japanese: Business level, N2 minimum level required.Other Requirements: Eligible to work in Japan; Experience working in Japan's travel industry appreciated; Very strong knowledge of Japan as a destination – geographical and logistical; Ability to segment and prioritize all enquiries (urgent, non-urgent, important etc.); Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage own workloads; Able to work with minimal supervision.Key Skills:Product Management: The ability to coordinate and manage the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch, including defining product descriptions, selecting media channels, and establishing supply chain processes.Supplier Management: Ability to select and help in negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best purchase conditions and maintaining effective relationships with various service providers.Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to analyze product performance metrics such as profitability, customer satisfaction, and margins, using data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.Communication / Collaboration: Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams, negotiating with suppliers, and training sales teams
