The NDT Training & Logistics Supervisor guarantees the consistency of the qualifications system and the integrity of the skills matrix for any operational activity carried out by Inspections, Steam Generators & Reactor Services Personnel.
Management and monitoring of access by Westinghouse group employees to the Spanish nuclear power plants.
To meet the company's overall training policy and its legal and social obligations, the operational technical training lead: Designs, develops, and updates training materials (training procedure, educational materials).
Ensures consistency between skills matrices, training procedures, and educational materials.
Creates a skills matrix for any operational activity in conjunction with operational managers.
Updates and checks the Tables of Authorizations, Authorizations, and Qualifications of personnel by activity.
Manages qualifications in SAP/Faraday as an administrator.
Manages the administration of internal technical training, tracking file, and recordings.
Participates in "challenge reviews", internal and external audits.
Creates technical skills assessments.
Manages discrepancies in reported experiences and monitoring companionship.
Manages the purchase and maintenance of training equipment.
Participates in updating internal procedures.
The operational technical training lead works in cooperation with other departments to ensure that the skills matrices are adapted to the different projects.
He/She collaborates with the Managers of operations, product, ELA OMS project managers, internal trainers, resource planners, QEHS, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Purchasing, and other training stakeholders at Westinghouse.
External Relations: The operational technical training lead is in contact with suppliers for the purchase and maintenance of training equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities: Knowledge on the technical and regulatory requirements of NPP projects.
Works independently and reports blocking points to the team and/or line manager.
Concerted decision-making with the line manager on specific training and organizational topics.
Database updating and management.
Proposal of operational resources based on their authorizations/qualification and availability.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific or equivalent.
+ 5 years' experience in nuclear-related operational activities.
Supervision experience in a training environment.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Organized/Teamwork/Resilience/Curious/Attentive/Flexibility.
General knowledge of requirements for regulatory and technical training.
Very good knowledge of Office 365, in particular Excel.
Experience with SAP.
