WHAT YOU WILL DO:Lead in the development of a channel and category strategy to support Chupa Chups Spain business priorities.Lead and support the Sales department, in the areas of business intelligence, category management and customer activation.Initiate and execute category management projects with retailers to support category growth.Build strategic projects with key retailers, aiming to influence purchasing behaviour, drive in-store activations for the brand portfolio, and support the sales effort in the creation and implementation of innovative and effective trade support activities and POS.Identify and monitor competitors, researching market conditions to ensure Chupa Chups remain relevant, focused and aware of wider macro and micro trends.Undertake shopper research projects to enhance understanding of key focus areas within the confectionery market, helping cascade findings and learnings throughout the organisation.Develop and deliver a coordinated trade communications strategy to build greater presence and awareness of Chupa Chups in the confectionery market.Represent Spain business, actively participating on Global projects to enhance wider business growth potential.Developing a channel strategy which forms the basis for the commercial brand and account strategy of Chupa Chups.Developing and maintaining channel strategies, category- and shelf vision, category plans and consumer decision tree.Build, analyse, share and keep relevant business data & information up-to-date so commercial decisions can be substantiated and taken.Project lead for diverse multidisciplinary projects in the commercial department where knowledge of shopper and market data is necessary.Contribute to the development of the online business (Pure players/Grocery).Lead the S&OP and NPD process from the commercial point of view and its monitoring.Lead the Trade Marketing Team consisting of 5 people.
Develops and guides this through professional support, ie training on the job, coaching and/or external training.Improves own professional level continuously through professional growth, supported by Marketing & Sales Manager, through external quality-oriented training activities and/or projects.Develops and maintains business and personal networks throughout the PVM organization and develops active network with sales and trade marketing peers and business relationships outside the Spanish business. OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE:Educational background: University degree in Marketing / Business administration.7 years work experience within Sales/Category Management or Trade Marketing at an A-brand manufacturer within FMCG.Experience with Nielsen and GFK data, Nitro and Spaceman are essential, BI, Power BI, Mercadinamica, SFA Systems, excel power user.Strong experience of working within key organize accounts, Convenience, Wholesale and experience within E-commerce.Strong experience in analysing, building insights, and developing data systems, with the ability to coach/lead others to utilise these.Strong experience in coordinating and managing trade related activities with marketing and sales, including category visions & reviews, NPD launch materials, tools and presentation materials for customer meetings.Strong experience and creativity in shop-floor activities (e.g.
promotions and POS) strategies, tactics and implementation.Experience in clearly articulating marketing strategies and goals to the sales organisation to influence sales tactics and strategies.High level of personal organisation, and ability to work under pressure.Strong people management skills and ability to enhance team effectiveness and deliver through others.Fluent spoken and written English.
