Position Title:Territory Manager, Dealer
Team and Location:Dartmouth, NS
Position Summary:The Territory Manager, Dealer Relations, actively builds a territory of retail accounts to meet or exceed budgeted volumes and contributions. The primary responsibility is to deliver growth through utilization of the Dealer Value Proposition. This position owns the sales and marketing efforts to maintain and develop a dealer account base within a defined territory while working with the Regional Operations Manager for that area. Position will also be accountable for margin management and cost control to maximize profitability. This role requires a person who is able to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities and objectives. It is based in the field with significant customer interfaces on a regular basis.
The Dealer Relations Territory Manager owns all accounts to ensure compliance with all safety and environmental guidelines and all company requirements regarding brand adherence. It is a front-line position that should analyze marketing trends and make recommendations on go-to-market strategies, customer behaviors, and changes in a retailer's financial position. This role leads the need internally and externally on a daily basis and with people from various levels of organizations. The Dealer Relations Territory Manager is a strong leader that drives accountability and has a high financial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:Leads a market of dealers to drive same store growth while adding value and leadership in the Dealer Network.Build strong relationships and professional values to facilitate re-signing existing dealer business.Make recommendations on A sites and provide referrals to the Regional Operations Manager for territory growth and network development.Manage all levels of brand execution to achieve the highest consumer regard for our brands through exceeding the brands loyalty target; maximizing fleet opportunities in the territory, conducting value-added quarterly site visits, and assisting the dealer to exceed the mystery shop scores.Develop the highest level of service by leading the need and driving high NPS results.Make recommendations and actively promote the advantages of Parkland through our Dealer Value Proposition while making tactical decisions on brand structure.Deliver recommendations to Dealer Relations team while sharing best practices that will support and enhance the dealer base.Analyze markets and deliver recommendations, provide required reports while using the best time management skills to make the most of your prepared schedule.Implement all legal requirements to mitigate risk and liability to ensure overall health of dealer network.Conduct yourself with the highest level of Safety which adheres within PFC Safety policy and procedures.Qualifications and Skills:
