Technology & Global Services (TGS) Global Engineering Business Partner Job Description Summary As a Technology & Global Services (TGS) Business partner, you will be responsible to partner with the stakeholders from Global Engineering team to develop technology roadmaps, plan and deliver IT initiatives to solve business problems and pursue opportunities.
About the role As a Technology & Global Services (TGS) Business partner, you will be responsible to partner with the stakeholders from Global Engineering team to develop technology roadmaps, plan and deliver IT initiatives to solve business problems and pursue opportunities.
This individual will be required to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external collaborators and partners to ensure that business priorities are delivered.
The successful candidate will work as part of the integrated supply chain (ISC) business partner team within TGS.
About you The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strong business relationship management and strategic understanding, business and technology experience, exceptional relationship building skills and solution-oriented mentality.
In addition, this person should also possess: Bachelor's degree in business or any engineering fields or equivalent relevant work experience.
10+ years of deep and progressive experience as a strategic IT Business Partner.
Experience with manufacturing and supporting product and process engineering organization and familiarity with processes, software tools and applications used in the domain.
Experience with Product lifecycle management and integrations with R&D, maintenance, and operations functions.
Experience in implementing and supporting document management systems and controls.
Basic understanding of Capex planning and management processes.
Experience with vendor management.
Knowledge on SDLC, application lifecycle management, software licensing, cloud application in engineering.
Experience in Service Now, Autodesk, Hexagon or Engineering DMS systems is desired.
Proficiency in project management basics: charter, case development, project plan and schedule, communication planning, test planning and management, risk/issue management.
Basic experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with collaborators at all levels in the organization.
Proven experience and a passion for collaboration across teams.
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and in overcoming ambiguity.
