Role Purpose As the Technical Product Manager for the Digital Infrastructure, you will be a member of the Connectivity & Platform International Business Team. The Technical Product Manager is a critical role in ensuring the success of our vision to build and bring an innovative platform that will help Roche and companies around the world provide services to our customers. Under the lead of the International Business Leader for Connectivity & Platform, the Technical Product Manager will execute on the Digital Infrastructure strategy and own the holistic vision and delivery within our business team. This position will be responsible for gathering deep customer insights and developing accurate interface and feature requirements for new applications. The Technical Product Manager will also be responsible to drive the strategic goals of the Digital Infrastructure, and create common elements that will be shared across RIS. They will lead cross-functional teams' alignment, so as to guide the focus of the experts and squads. As such, you will closely work with other product managers and cross-functional stakeholders across Roche Diagnostics Global & Affiliate organizations
Your responsibilities will require you to… Will support the rollout of navify Integrator and associated modules in different markets and regions.
Will support the creation of the navify Integrator, providing functional and nonfunctional requirements based on customer feedback, that can guarantee the success of the platform.
Connect with the App teams to understand and model the needs of platform elements. This needs need to be converted into business opportunities, and will need to be detailed out, to an extent that the technical teams can understand and estimate efforts, to prepare for the PI planning.
Will need to document and provide best practices in the use of the Lab Insights Platform. The goal is to create the knowledge base that the App developers can use to accelerate the development of new value propositions for our customers.
Deeply understand the end user use cases, and the respective product requirements; translating these requirements into user stories and system level requirements for the RIS Architecture and SW engineering teams, as well as the Data Services teams.
Collaborate with the International Business Leader, and Business Product Managers to translate the business requirements into user stories and system requirements, while maintaining a groomed product backlog for implementation by the scrum teams.
Own the sprint grooming sessions and participate in the agile scrum ceremonies.
Communicate with the development teams to help scope and prioritize the user stories.
Manage day-to-day priorities with engineering teams and escalate trade-offs with stakeholders.
Work closely with the UI/UX team to design elegant user experiences that help solve customers' pain points.
Participate in daily standups, release planning, and retrospectives
Provide the voice of the user to the development teams and ensure that teams have clear understanding of what they are developing and the value it delivers
Execute on the product roadmap and translate high level strategies into manageable stories and product backlog
Participate in internal workshops to define and initiate projects, assisting the Engineering team to identify dependencies
Support the development teams during each release cycle to clarify requirements, make priority calls, review test plans and determine a release schedule
As a Technical Product Manager for the Lab Insights Platform, you bring: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS or other technical degree.
Experience with interoperability projects: HL7, FHIR, ...
4+ years' experience as an Agile/Scrum product owner or Technical product manager
Experience with JIRA or a similar backlog management tool.
Experience shipping an enterprise, SaaS, or health-related technology product (for internal or external use) is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
Self-starter comfortable working in a rapidly evolving fast paced environment
Strong planning, organization, and collaborative skills
A willingness to take the lead in new projects, be seen as a decision maker and drive projects to a successful outcome
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members. Understand the intersection between clinical healthcare, technology applications, and trends.
Personally motivated, creative thinker and accountable team player. Demonstrated ability to respectfully provide and receive feedback
Previous experience building commercial software products for lab end users is required
Deep knowledge in cloud-based technologies is required
Successful prior experience working in healthcare software solutions in Health IT, MedTech or Biotech industry settings preferred.
Good understanding of software quality management systems, regulated software in healthcare and agile
Experience of product development processes and methodologies (for agile software development)
Able to foster positive partnerships through effective influencing, negotiation and conflict management skills to achieve alignment up and down the organization

This role can be undertaken from our Sant Cugat or Rotkreuz offices. As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.
