International technical company in Amersfoort. Responsibilities/TasksThe Network Application Engineer will work with high performance Audio/Video streaming networks to meet the strategic objectives of our customers.
This includes both pre and post sales design, implementation and support as well as validation of emerging network technologies. This position will focus primarily on multi-vendor networks, as well as AV Streaming and Control products that leverage network technology. Review system requirements to ensure understanding, accuracy, completeness, and feasibility.Participate in formal design and implementation activities ensuring performance and adherence to standards and best practices.Serve as an escalation point for general network and network enabled product technical support.Work across multiple teams to test and troubleshoot issues, validate new products and technologies and provide solutions, designs, recommendations and supporting documentation.Work with multiple network vendors and network technologies to provide solutions that meet our customers' requirements.Create appropriate technical documentation for the tasks assigned.RequirementsBS degree in EE, CE, CS, IT or ET or equivalent experience in the audio visual or IT industry.3+ years of experience developing and integrating network and enterprise management systems in large enterprise IT network organization.Experience in creating technical solutions and in working with multiple business units and solution teams to leverage multiple technologies.Solid foundation in general network engineering including physical and logical network topologies, L2, L3, routing protocols.Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and in a timely manner.Experience managing high performance networks utilizing network analysis tools, bandwidth management, QoS, and traffic shaping.Experience with packet capture and analysis of common network protocols such as UDP, RTP, PTP, TLS, HTTPs, etc.Proven ability to deploy technical solutions into an existing infrastructure, including the identification and integration of products and services.Able to provide strong consulting and strategic advising to our Sales, Product Management and Delivery teams in the network design and requirements.Able to provide technical direction for best practices and functional roles during customer engagements, including assisting in identifying skills and business shortfalls in a customer environment and participating in the establishment of solutions.Excellence in training, motivating and guiding colleagues to achieve results and meet internal objectives.Proven ability to achieve consensus decisions on complex business and technical challenges.Ability to communicate technical information in a concise, understandable and accurate fashion to non-technical personnel and articulate vision across Executives and Technical Decision Makers.Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).Strong attention to details, highly organized.Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.Some travel will be required.
