The Role
An AWS Technical Account Manager is a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for our Enterprise Support customers. You'll craft and execute strategies to drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services, including products like EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFront.
Key job responsibilities include:
Building solutions, providing technical guidance, and advocating for the customerEnsuring AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexityDeveloping trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challengesDriving technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk managementConsulting with a range of partners from developers to C-suite executivesCollaborating with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account ManagersProactively finding opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWSProviding detailed reviews of service disruptions, monthly & quarterly metrics, and detailed pre-launch planningSolving a variety of problems as customers migrate their workloads to the cloudUplifting customer capabilities by running workshops and brown bag sessionsA day in the life: As we continue to rapidly expand in EMEA, you'll have opportunities to develop your technical, consulting, and leadership skills while working with talented cloud technologists and gaining AWS certifications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS* Experience in a similar role as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Cloud Architect
* Understanding operational parameters and troubleshooting for 2 or more of the following: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development
* Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences
* Ability to juggle tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
* Customer obsessed
* Portuguese and English speaker
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* Professional experience with cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
* Programming or scripting skills in Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP a plus
* Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, or DevOps Engineer
* Understanding of DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration/Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef is a plus
