As a Tech Transfer Manager, you'll be responsible for defining the strategy and roadmap of technologies, mostly coming from R&D projects, to the market. In the science industry, the job position for bringing research to market is known as Tech Transfer, although in the private sector, this job is similar to a Marketing Manager or Presales Manager. I2CAT research areas generate technology assets (software libraries, SDK, algorithms, and other intellectual property results) that need to be transferred to existing ICT companies or spin-offs via licensing or joint-venture agreements.You'll be in charge of taking a customer-first approach to technology development, interviewing and understanding technical challenges, market requirements, and opportunities, testing concepts, and contributing to the technology roadmap by creating consensus internally and with key external partners (industry not academy).Identify technical market needs (features) and practices (standards, uses, trends...) and translate into technology requirements.Work closely with the R&D teams to manage the technology roadmap.Understand the technical essence of inventions and analyze the commercial potential (market fit, value proposal...).Define the go-to-market strategy and business model.Generate marketing documentation.Provide technical support to the business area in the sales process.Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.Who we are: The greatest value of i2CAT is the talent of the people who make up our human team.
