**About the role**:
To enable Energy Systems to achieve its strategic ambitions and become future fit, we need leaders who drive business operations to meet customers' expectations while also continuously improving the way we work. The new organization we defined is based on two main dimensions: Customer focus around our Key Accounts and Markets, and strong Regional Service Areas.
The Energy Markets and Transactions Section delivers services at the forefront of energy transition covering Policies, Transactions and Energy Markets Analytics in South Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America (SEMELA).
The Energy Markets and Transactions Section is therefore seeking the Team Lead for Policies and Transactions (SEMELA).
The Team Lead Policies and Transactions (SEMELA) optimizes business operations and improves the long-term performance of the section Energy Markets and Transactions (SEMELA). They work closely on commercial opportunities to strengthen and expand business, including driving the doer/seller culture. They support service line activities and technical competence development within the section aligned with Energy Systems strategy. The Team Lead Policies and Transactions (SEMELA) has a strong focus on delivery and utilization, gains efficiency within the section. They partner with Heads of Section, KAMs, MAMs and Segment Leads in delivering an excellent customer experience while stimulating collaboration within their team as well across the organization. Together with the Head of Section, they must ensure that they have the right number of staff with the right capabilities and strives for a high performing collaborative culture and exceptional employee experience.
We work in dynamic project teams, in close cooperation with our clients in the Energy industry. Our people combine industry expertise, multi-disciplinary skills and innovation to solve complex challenges for our customers. Our work covers all phases, from identifying business opportunities to executing the projects and follow up.

The position is based in Spain.
We are currently seeking a Team Lead Policies and Transactions who is expected to:
- Be part of the Energy Markets and Transactions Section Leadership team
- Contribute and interact with Service Area and Practice Lead Networks
- Ensure completion of mandatory courses
- Plan broad competence development of interns
- Staff workload management and projects distribution
- Connect operational staff objectives to individual targets (MIPs)
- Optimizes business performance through delivery management, cost-efficient business operations (project profitability), improvement of the utilization rate (chargeability) and an aligned workforce plan
- Empowers employees and encourages employability and individual growth
- Support staff to provide proper WIP, SOB and Timesheets in due time
- Manage subcontractors with regards to the service line
- Interact with Finance group and follow-up on invoices
- Work closely and collaboratively with other Team Leads
- Ensures an efficient & consistent delivery of services in line with customer expectations (technical and deadlines).
- Deliver chargeability in projects
Support Head of Section for:
- Understand client's needs and set up and implement solutions for technical and organizational challenges of our clients
- Provide overview about projects encountering challenges
- Discuss key proposals (clauses, assumptions, pricing strategy)
- Map key competences and ensure competence development among the team to create a flexible workforce
- Provide insights on service line strategic views
- Provide analysis on projects financial figures compared to plan
- Builds and strengthens a strong internal culture based on company's values
The Team Lead will report to the Head of Section, Energy Markets and Transactions (SEMELA).
