Descripción del puesto: In charge of ensuring adequate HSE project performance across multiple projects simultaneously.
Construction Site H3SE Manager as needed.
Capable of performing deputy role for HSE Dept.
- Monitor and implement the company's H3SE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Develop relevant H3SE procedures and templates in local language with integration of country specificities, based on Company procedures, as required by H3SE Manager.
- Identify potential hazards & recommend solutions at all stages of projects, including design review.
- Perform environmental screening of projects at early stages of development or due diligence.
- Supervise ESIA studies and guide business teams in populating the Corisk matrix for top management approval.
- Assist Project Managers to ensure compliance by all project contractors to all relevant legislation and statutory requirements.
- Review HSE Plans, Procedures, Method Statements, Risk assessments for the projects, and all Health, Safety & Environment related documentation to ensure compliance with Group and local requirements.
- Implementation and maintenance of OHSAS 45001 and corporate Maestro management system.
- Conduct regular inspections/audits of construction sites or O&M sites to ensure that activities are executed as per the HSE plan and procedures.
- Monitor implementation of environmental and social mitigation measures during construction and O&M phases.
- Assist Project Managers to implement improvement & prohibition notices to contractors and set up recommendations & corrective actions (including close-out monitoring).
- Conduct accidents & incidents investigations and follow up actions.
- Ensure proper HSE training of Company staff, organize HSE promotion events such as World Day for Safety & Environment, live saving checks, stop cards program, etc.
- Ensure the proper availability and working condition of safety equipment.
Collect relevant information and report H3SE data.
- Ensure 100% compliance with the company's HSE objectives, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines provided by Company.
Contexto y medio ambiente: Total Renewables develops, builds, and operates solar projects all over the world, either with full ownership or with partners in JVs.
The position is located in Iberia headquarters (Madrid, Spain) and requires regular travel to Total Iberia project sites under construction in Spain and Portugal.
The HSE Manager interacts with all functions of the TSI business unit worldwide and with contractors and partner companies.
As required, long-term allocation at company Projects under construction and/or O&M.
