JOB DESCRIPTION Summary Smadex, part of Entravision, is a fast-growing programmatic platform running performance and brand advertising campaigns across mobile in-app, mobile web and CTV. To help us accelerate our growth in EMEA, Smadex is looking for a Senior Director Sales based in the region. Candidates for this important role will need to be based in either the UK, Germany or Spain.
What you will do: Present Smadex's programmatic solutions to key decision makers directly to advertisers (primarily mobile app publishers), major Brands and Media Agencies. Close new business contracts and ensure successful campaign launches and ramp up, working closely with the Account Management, AdOps and Creative Teams. Manage, coach and motivate the New Business team as well as attract new talent to join the team. Define and execute the EMEA New Business sales strategy in partnership with the Chief Revenue Officer and in collaboration with other regional sales leaders. Partner with internal support teams to ensure maximum levels of client satisfaction. Growth revenues in line with ambitious sales revenue targets. Key Attributes: Exemplary sales performance through resourceful execution & partnerships. Able to lead by example and to train/manage a high-performance team. Strong knowledge of mobile marketing and technologies (DSPs, Ad Networks, Exchanges, DMPs, SSPs, ATT, SKAd, audience targeting, etc.). Extensive network of contacts and relationships with direct advertisers and agencies in the EMEA region. Demonstrates accountability/ownership at every stage of client business: prospecting, presenting, negotiating and enjoys "rolling up his/her sleeves" to make an impact. The ability to create deep partnerships based on relationship management and consultative selling. Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Able to analyze and articulate information with ad operations and product teams. Collaborates with multiple internal support teams for smooth campaign execution. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in person and over the phone/video. Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, but equivalent years in work experience will be considered. 8+ years experience selling directly to major direct advertisers and digital agencies, to buyers managing marketing spend for app-based advertising campaigns. Other skills and requirements: Programmatic sales experience is required. Technical knowledge about the mobile app ecosystem with the ability to identify and escalate 1st degree issues: tracking, post back, APIs, MMP integration, etc. Strong understanding of the mobile app industry: actors, media-buying, sellers, suppliers, etc. Proactive, disciplined, highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Comfortable utilizing SalesForce, and its related plug-ins, on a daily basis for CRM purposes and pipeline reporting. Polished presentation skills, both in-person and over video calls. Able to work with support teams based in Barcelona and other global offices. Flexible enough to facilitate calls during corresponding business hours. Able to travel to conferences, meetings and international off-sites. Valid passport required.
