T3.04/2024 Research Analyst Intern, FORCE Iniciative
To promote a network of excellence centres in health research and to better position investigation of the Valencia region (CV) at the national and international level, the Department of Investigation and Innovation of the Conselleria de Sanidad has announced the new initiative FORCE (Fomento de Redes y Centros de Excelencia). This new project aims to coordinate and promote scientific and technological collaborations between research foundations, hospitals, and other relevant entities in the CV. FORCE will identify and create new opportunities to harness the collective power of networks to transfer laboratorty results to improve healthcare for the patients.
The CIPF has a new agreement with Johnson & Johnson company that provides us with resources to implement actions aimed at promoting strategic alliances and research collaborations by forming an active part in FORCE which will increase the visibility and competitiveness of our institute. 
The current position will support the development and implementation of the FORCE health initiative. The internship will assist with analysis of scientific production, research capacities, and assess synergies between different institutes in CV. This new, innovative initiative requires a specific set of skills of a professional profile that currently does not exist in the CIPF, and thus we are seeking a talented intern to train and perform these tasks for a period of 1 year. The duties of the research analyst trainee include:
to assess and implement plans for establishing strategic alliances with other health research institutes or scientific entities.
to identify and provide economic analysis reports on new funding opportunities for health-oriented research at the national and international.
to develop new tools and protocols for evaluating scientific production outputs in health-oriented institutes.
