The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Ashore Program's mission is to design, procure, integrate, install and sustain the systems/equipment hardware, associated firmware, and software required to provide the ability to protect mission-critical assets and personnel from natural disasters, acts of terrorism and other human-caused disasters.Responsibilities:Install new software releases and system upgrades.
Evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems.Perform system backups and recovery.Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.Provide critical preventive and corrective maintenance, information assurance, asset management, technical systems updates, service call resolution, and configuration management for C4I systems worldwide.Provide Operation and Maintenance support including patch management/testing, STIG implementation and mitigation, information assurance/security, anti-virus, and data backup solutions.Provide system administration and engineering support for Windows 2008/2012.Qualifications:At least four years of specialized experience.A DoD Secret Clearance.Security + Certification.Up to 25% travel.Additional desired experience and skills:Bachelor's Degree.Experience with Windows Operating System and Windows Server, CCNA, and VMWare, with a strong understanding of current Microsoft supported windows operating systems.Experience in the administration of Windows Active Directory infrastructure to include Group Policy Object management experience, VMware ESXi server, database solutions to include Microsoft SQL and Oracle, BackupExec, Acronis.Ability to create Standard Operating Procedure documentation for designs and implementation strategies of new hardware and software deployments.Company Overview: Serco Inc.
