Synthesis Scientist

About the roleAs Synthesis Scientist under supervision of the R&D Synthesis Supervisor will be responsible for development and familiarisation of processes for both generic products and CDMO in API's, complying with the execution deadlines established for each project always complying with the quality, safety and environmental regulations established in the company.Duties:Study and technical evaluation of the project information from a process point of view in terms of scalability, security and quality.Development and/or optimisation and fine-tuning of processes by carrying out the necessary activities so that the process move to the scaling phase.Planning, management and monitoring of the activities related to the execution of a project in order to guarantee the deadlines, quality and costs of the product associated with the project.Documentation of all activities through the drafting of research reports, laboratory reports, impurity sheets, etc. ....Monitoring and transferring the process to the plants, participating in the hazop, comparative control of quality and process results during scale-up, process advice to the process transfer team, presence in the plant is required for on-site monitoring of process control points to ensure quality, safety and performance during scale-up.Support in troubleshooting investigations, deviations or OOS to plants within the timeframe required to meet established shutdown times.Experience and Attributes we valueDegree in Organic Chemistry.Master or PhD in Organic Chemistry is an asset.Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position.High level in English and Spanish.What's on offerIndefinite -term contract.Salary package of fixed salary plus bonusGood training plan
