Sw Engineer For Ground Support Equipment (Gse)

Job Description :
The main activity shall be the development of software and process automation for test equipment including Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), Unit Testers (UT), and module set-ups developed to perform the qualification and acceptance testing of flight electronics.
The candidate shall be involved in the following activities :

SW requirements analysis and implementation
Development, HW/SW Integration and verification of SW to control electronic boards or equipment including management of instrumentation.
Preparation of the required documentation
Team player role for every project stage
Initiative and capability for continuous learning and opportunities in process automation

The main goal is to perform the different control systems in order to apply them in automation processes.
REQUIREMENTS :
Education : Engineering degree
Work Experience :
Experience in the following tasks is required :

Wide experience with .NET Framework 4
Visual Studio environment and C# language
Familiarity with WPF and WCF.
Experience with Python 3.6 and standalone test scripts development.
Experience with several communication protocols and sockets (TCP-IP, ZeroMQ)
HW/SW integration and managing of lab equipment
Valuable experience with integration and maintenance tools (Git, JIRA, Windchill, Doors)

Nice to have :

Experience with test automation with innovative methodologies (Autotest, Big Data, Machine Learning, IoT)
Single-board computers or System on Chip (SoC) programming experience
LXI/IEEE488 equipment programming experience
Experience with the Linux and Windows operating systems would be beneficial

Soft Skills :

Capability to work in a group with people from different areas
Good analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem resolution and investigations.
Good communication skills.
