.Maintenance Supervisor - Machining ensures an ongoing and smooth production operation with optimal use of resources. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Standard Duties:Responsible for achieving the daily Key Performance Indicators for the area managed such as safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement.Coach, supervise and develop a large group of maintenance team leaders and technicians aligned with the Skills Matrix.Evaluate staffing needs and assign available resources where appropriate to support other areas.Consistently apply and execute policies and standards.Manage performance reviews and timekeeping for the area managed daily.Conduct layered audits and ensure that operational processes such as PMs, lockout/tag out, PPE audits, etc. are being followed consistently.Ensure all shift assigned equipment is routinely maintained.Execute daily maintenance production plan and continuous improvement activities as set by management.Analyze production data and take appropriate action for continuous improvement.Prepare documentation and lead compliance to a planned maintenance program.Collaborate with customers to deliver needed results.Lead investigations related to Controls, Machining and/or Assembly Maintenance issues and recommend solutions.Partner with engineers to ensure system capability of new equipment purchases and systems integrations.Drive team to deliver quality work to reduce systemic/repeated work orders.Other Duties:This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment
