The Position Reporting to the Bid and Contracts Lead, your mission is to offer expert advice and strategic coordination in the end-to-end process of participating in public tenders for key commercial operations. As the biggest expert of the affiliate in the comprehensive process of public procurement, and with a deep commercial approach, your role focuses mainly in the definition and implementation of a winning strategy.

Your holistic vision of the public tenders, the IVD market and our competitors will allow you to bring high valuable contributions from the pre-tender phase to the contract execution. Thanks to your contracts knowledge together with your commercial capabilities you will be able to build strong relationships with the key clients and direct impact on key operations.

Your Key Responsibilities: Provide expert support to the Sales teams from the earlier stages of the opportunities to contract formalization for selected strategic operations. Complement commercial capabilities to ensure that a winning strategy is defined and implemented, ensuring competitiveness, sustainability and perfect preparation of the offers, maximizing the probability of success. Establish trust relationships with key clients hand to hand with Sales and Market Access. Participation in public procurement forums and workshops. Visit Clients to offer senior advice and collaborate on key opportunities. Participate and influence the phases of the 'Tender To Cash' process to anticipate the elaboration of the best technical and economic proposal for key clients. Review all documentation included in strategic proposals. This includes both technical documentation and the tailor made offer provided by the sales network and third parties. Analyze the entire process of offering and awarding contracts in order to ensure compliance with the strategy and simulations, allowing you to stay up to date with changes and trends in the market and competition. Apply this information to future bidding strategies. Provide contractual and dispute advice leading the strategy in litigations (or opposition to them) that ensures the timely management of the process and guaranteeing the maximum rate of success. As the main expert in public procurement, you will stay up to date with the latest trends in innovative ways of contracting and value based procurement. Establish guidelines on the strategy in the end-to-end contracting process. Conduct trainings on public contracting to the whole SubChapter and the rest of the Organization. Contribute with expert support to the whole Organization for complex issues concerning Bids & Contracts. Required Skills: Organizational, Strategic and Analytical Skills: High knowledge in the public procurement and holistic understanding of the commercial operations process. Analytical skills will allow you to gain extensive understanding of the market, including current and past operations, as well as their alignment with the strategy. Critical thinking: Objectively evaluate information, question assumptions, and make decisions based on rigorous analysis. Ability to analyze multiple perspectives and evidence, avoiding biases and prejudices. Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions in complex situations and with little time. Organizational ability to meet established deadlines and work well under pressure. Commercial and Communication Skills: Commercial capabilities communicating clearly adapting to client's profile and background. Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and obtain the necessary information for proposals. In order to lead the writing of litigations excellent writing and editing skills are needed, with attention to detail and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Ability to communicate, divulge knowledge and conduct training sessions. Additional Relevant Skills: Experience in the IVD or biotechnologies field is very valuable. High knowledge of public procurement Law in Spain. Experience in litigations will be taken into consideration. Who You Are: Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Law or Economics. Experience in the participation in public tender processes. Experience in Sales, Tenders or Legal teams in commercial affiliates, preferably in the IVD, Health or biotechnologies field. High knowledge of the public procurement process. Capability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Very high level of Spanish and high level of English.
