We are currently seeking a public cloud experienced engineer for planning, designing, and implementing next-generation cloud infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities:Design, automate, and manage a highly available and scalable cloud deployment that allows development teams to deploy and run their services.Automate operational tasks and processes using tools like Cloud Shell, Cloud SDK, or Cloud APIs.Design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.Define architecture patterns, including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, and resource groups.Set up and configure virtual machines, storage, databases, and other cloud resources.Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.Implement security best practices, including network security groups, firewalls, and encryption.Plan and implement disaster recovery strategies; set up automated backups and data retention policies.Design the architecture of the self-hosted cloud platform, considering scalability, performance, and security requirements.Deploy, configure, and manage various components of the self-hosted cloud platform.Modernize existing on-prem solutions and improve existing systems.Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies.Identify optimization strategies and help develop self-healing capabilities.Lead a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.Manage relationships with cloud service providers.Reasons to Join Ford:Belong to a leading company in the Automotive industry globally with more than 120 years in the market.Full-time fixed contract, with a competitive starting compensation and a benefits package.Work-life balance: 33 vacation days and work under a hybrid model (2/3 days a week).Career Development path - being part of high-impact projects which would allow you to improve your technical skills.
